Choose the right integration type

What is the right integration type and which one should you choose for your order integration? Go through this guide to find out.

Before setting up an integration with your webshop, it's important for you to choose the right integration type, the one that fits your business and your work flow best.
This will help you achieve the most efficient setup and make the most out of what Shipmondo has to offer in terms of order and freight management.

There are two integration types that you need to take a look into:

Import to Drafts

This integration type transfers the information from order heathers to Shipmondo, which includes:

  • Your address as a sender

  • Your customer's receiver address

  • Delivery method your customer has chosen and pick-up point information, if available

The above information will help you automate booking of shipments with just a few clicks, and your shipping labels will be printed more quickly and efficiently.

If you already have a good system for order manegement and only wish to use Shipmondo for booking of shipments, then this is the integration type we'd recommend.

Import to Orders

This integration type allows you to manage both your orders and freight from one and the same system. This includes printing packing lists, delivery notes, handling withdraws, preparing shipments and printing shipping labels directly from Shipmondo (See an example here).

This integration transfers both order heather and order line information from your webshop to Shipmondo, which includes:

  • Your address as a sender

  • Your customer's receiver address

  • Delivery method your customer has chosen and pick-up point information, if available

  • The payment method that was used to complete the order

  • Items, discounts, prices etc.
