Nets Denmark has a monopoly on acquiring the pure Dankort, so it is necessary to have an acquiring agreement with Nets Denmark in order to accept online payments with Dankort.

The vast majority of online card payments are made with either Visa, Mastercard, or their versions (Visa/Dankort, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Mastercard Debit, Maestro).

Payments with Visa/Dankort can be acquired with either a Dankort agreement with Nets Denmark or acquirers that can acquire Visa, such as Worldline, Rapyd (Valitor), Swedbank, or through Shipmondo Payments.

If you want a Dankort agreement, you need to contact Nets Denmark.

In Shipmondo Payments, you can activate multiple acquiring agreements.

If you already have a Dankort agreement with Nets Denmark, you can fill out the form under Settings > Integrations > Payment Gateway with the information from the agreement, and we will activate the acquiring agreement for you.
