Shipmondo Payments gives you the option to easily and affordably accept payments on your webshop. With Shipmondo Payments, you get both a payment gateway and an acquiring agreement in one complete solution.

If you already have an attractive acquiring agreement with Worldline/Bambora, Rapyd (Valitor), Swedbank, Nets, Clearhaus, or Elavon, you can also use it with Shipmondo Payments.

Just like we offer competitive shipping rates through thorough negotiations with popular carriers based on our substantial shipping volume, we can also provide a cost-effective payment solution using the same negotiation principles.

This guide shows you how to get started with Shipmondo Payments and take advantage of the attractive terms and affordable prices.

1. Create a free account on Shipmondo

If you haven't already signed up for a free Shipmondo account, you can create one here.

You now have access to all of Shipmondo's services, including Shipmondo Payments.

2. Request setup of Shipmondo Payments

We will assist you with the technical setup. Request the setup of Shipmondo Payments through your Shipmondo account.

Log in to your account. Go to Settings > Integration > Payment Gateway.

Click on the plus button (+) at the bottom right corner and select Shipmondo Payments as your provider.

3. Choosing a merchant agreement

You now have two options: to create a New agreement (Shipmondo Payments) or to choose an Existing agreement.

1. If you want to use one of the two acquiring agreements through Shipmondo Payments, choose New agreement. You can read more about prices here.

2. If you already have an acquiring agreement with Worldline/Bambora, Rapyd (Valitor), Swedbank, Nets Denmark, Clearhaus, or Elavon that you want to use, you can activate it through Shipmondo Payments. Just choose Existing agreement.

Note! You have the option to choose two attractive acquiring agreements with Shipmondo Payments. Read more about the two options in our article on prices and additional options.

Fill out your request for an acquiring agreement and finish with Create.

You also have the option to add MobilePay or Swish as a payment method. MobilePay charges a monthly fee + a small price per transaction. See all additional options and prices here.

Note! If you have multiple payment methods or acquiring agreements that you want to activate through Shipmondo Payments, please note this in the comment field under the request in Shipmondo or contact our support team at support@shipmondo.com, and we will assist with a quick setup of your agreements.

4. Verify your information and accept the agreement

We will now start the setup and prepare a merchant account for you with your acquiring agreement(s) and payment methods.

We will send you an email as soon as it is ready, and you will also receive a verification email from our partner Billwerk+ (Reepay) where you need to activate your account and create a password.

5. Activation of acquiring agreement

Depending on your choice in step 3, follow the instructions in steps 5.1 or 5.2 below.

5.1 You use either Shipmondo Worldline or Shipmondo Rapyd (Valitor) as your acquiring agreement

You will receive an email with further information regarding your request.

You have the option to choose Shipmondo Worldline and Shipmondo Rapyd (Valitor). Choose the solution that best suits your needs.

5.2 You use your existing acquiring agreement

If you use your existing acquiring agreement with Clearhaus or another acquirer, you have provided information about the agreement in step 3.

We will verify your provided information in the setup and prepare your merchant account to receive payments. As soon as your account is ready for use (within 1-2 business days), one of our employees will contact you at the email address you provided.

6. Setting up the integration for your webshop

The final step is to connect your payment gateway to your shop system. Find your shop system here and follow the instructions.

If you want to handle and capture payments with Shipmondo Payments for your orders through Shipmondo, you now need to connect your gateway to your order integration.
