Here are some examples of setting up Shipmondo's shipping module for Shopify.

Before creating your delivery methods please be aware of the following:

  • The symbol used as decimal separator is decimal point (.) and not comma (,)
  • Shipping prices are stated excl. VAT

You can find the setup of Shipmondo shipping module under WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping > Denmark > Add shipping method.

Example 1

GLS Shop Delivery, where the shipping price is based on the total price of the basket

  • Fixed shipping price: DKK 49 incl. VAT
  • Free shipping on purchase over DKK 500 incl. VAT

Example 2

Setup of DAO Shop Delivery where the shipping price is based on the total weight of the basket

  • From 0 to 1000 grams: DKK 29 incl. VAT
  • From 1000 to 5000 grams: DKK 39 incl. VAT
  • Over 5000 grams: DKK 39 incl. VAT

Example 3

PostNord Business Parcel where the shipping price is based on the total price of the basket

  • Shipping price DKK 50 incl. VAT: purchase between DKK 0 to 200 incl. VAT
  • Shipping price DKK 30 incl. VAT: purchase between DKK 200 to 500 incl. VAT
  • Free shipping on purchase over DKK 500 incl. VAT

Example 4:

You can set up a shipping method per weight range, so that the correct weight is automatically ordered in Shipmondo when mass booking shipments.

It is possible to set up one shipping method per. weight range and assign each shipping method a unique shipping template in your Shipmondo account.

In this example we show the setup of DAO Home Delivery for the intervals below

  • From 0 to 500 grams: DKK 29 incl. VAT
  • From 500 to 1000 grams: DKK 39 incl. VAT
  • From 1000 to 2000 grams: DKK 49 incl. VAT

We create three DAO Direct shipping methods and name them

  • DAO Home delivery 0-0.5 kg
  • DAO Home delivery 0.5-1 kg
  • DAO Home delivery 0.5-2 kg

This way, you have created three shipping methods with three unique names, which you subsequently can match with the corresponding shipping templates over in your Shipmondo account.

N.B. When you're done with your setup, we recommend that you test everything thoroughly to ensure that it works as expected and that you don't have any other plugins that might conflict with Shipmondo's shipping module.
