When setting up your shipping methods, please pay special attention to the following two things:
A period (.) must be used as a decimal separator instead of a comma (,)
Shipping prices must be specified excluding VAT in the setup
When you are logged into your WordPress admin, locate WooCommerce on the left and follow this path: WooCommerce > Settings > Shipping.
Find the zone for which you wish to set up shipping methods, click Edit, and then click Add shipping method.
This will present three options: Free shipping, Flat rate, and Shipmondo. You must select Shipmondo.
A shipping method named Shipmondo will now appear.
Click Edit.
Examples of setup
Example 1
Setup of GLS Service Point
Fixed shipping price: 49 DKK incl. VAT
Free shipping on purchases over 500 DKK incl. VAT
Example 2
Setup of daoSHOP where the shipping price is based on the total weight of the cart
From 0 to 1000 grams: 29 DKK incl. VAT
From 1000 to 5000 grams: 39 DKK incl. VAT
Over 5000 grams: 39 DKK incl. VAT
Example 3
Setup of PostNord - Business Parcel where the shipping price is based on the total order amount of the cart
Shipping price 50 DKK incl. VAT, if the total amount of the cart is between 0 to 200 DKK incl. VAT
Shipping price 30 DKK incl. VAT, if the total amount of the cart is between 200 to 500 DKK incl. VAT
Free shipping, if the total amount of the cart is over 500 DKK incl. VAT
Example 4
Setup of a shipping method per weight interval, so the correct weight is ordered automatically in Shipmondo when mass-creating shipments.
It is possible to set up a shipping method per weight interval and link each shipping method to a unique shipping template on your Shipmondo account.
In this example, we show the setup of dao Home Delivery for the intervals below
From 0 to 500 grams: 29 DKK incl. VAT
From 500 to 1000 grams: 39 DKK incl. VAT
From 1000 to 2000 grams: 49 DKK incl. VAT
We create three dao Home Delivery shipping methods and name them
dao Hjemmelevering 0-0,5 kg
dao Hjemmelevering 0,5-1 kg
dao Hjemmelevering 1-2 kg
In this way, you have created three delivery methods with three unique names, which you can subsequently link to the corresponding shipping templates in your Shipmondo account.
NB! When you have finished the setup, we recommend that you test it thoroughly on your webshop to ensure it works as intended and that you do not have other plugins causing conflicts with our Delivery Checkout.
This guide concerns the setup of shipping methods in Shipmondo's Delivery Checkout through WooCommerce. If you have not yet set up our Delivery Checkout, you can read our setup guide here.
If you have our old WooCommerce plugin, you can find the migration guide for the new plugin here.
If you wish to show your desired shipping methods in the checkout based on the items in the cart, you can read much more about it here.
