Shopify - Examples of delivery method setup in the Shipmondo app

Here you can see some examples of how to set up delivery methods in the Shipmondo app for Shopify.

The Shipmondo app is a flexible tool that allows you to configure exactly the delivery options you want to make available to your customers in checkout.

  • It is possible to combine order value, order weight, number of items, and postal code area in a single delivery method.

  • The Shipmondo app is compatible with Shopify’s own shipping rates. If there is a delivery country you cannot configure in the Shipmondo app, or if you for example want to offer pickup at your business address as a delivery method, this can instead be configured directly in Shopify’s shipping rates.

  • The Shipmondo app also supports the use of multiple warehouse locations for shipping rate calculation in checkout. This is a feature that can be enabled or disabled per shop via the Other settings page in the Shopify app, depending on your needs.

The setup of delivery methods can be found in Shopify under Apps > Shipmondo.

Note!

  • Only numbers with up to two decimals can be used, both for price and weight.

  • Shipping prices are stated including VAT in the examples. VAT for shipping is managed centrally in Shopify under Settings > Taxes and duties > Global settings.

  • Fields for minimum and maximum amount, weight, and number of items work according to the principle of “from and including” and “up to”. Both fields must contain the same number of characters, for example 1000 and 4999 or ABC000 and ABC999.

Example 1

How to set up fixed-price delivery to a home address and a pickup point.

Example 2

How to set up pickup point delivery with shipping prices based on the cart’s total weight.

  • 0 to 1 kg: 29 DKK (incl. VAT)

  • 1 to 5 kg: 39 DKK (incl. VAT)

  • 5 to 10 kg: 59 DKK (incl. VAT)

Example 3

How to set up delivery methods where shipping prices are based on the delivery product, including free shipping on orders over 500 DKK.

  • Private delivery: 69 DKK (incl. VAT)

  • Business delivery: 29 DKK (incl. VAT)

  • Pickup point delivery: 49 DKK (incl. VAT)

💡 Expert-tip: This example includes both staffed service points and parcel lockers, but it's completely up to you which type you want to display in your checkout.

Note! The business delivery method is only visible if a company name is available in the shipping address. Make sure to set Company name to "Optional" in your Shopify admin under Settings > Checkout > Customer information.

How to set up fixed-price delivery to pickup points in Sweden, limited to staffed service points (ombud).

How to set up home delivery with shipping prices based on postal code/region.

  • Delivery to Zealand: 399 DKK (incl. VAT)

  • Delivery to Funen: 499 DKK (incl. VAT)

  • Delivery to Jutland: 549 DKK (incl. VAT)

Example 6

How to set up pickup point delivery with shipping prices based on the number of items in the cart.

  • 0 to 5 items: 39 DKK (incl. VAT)

  • 6 to 99 items: 0 DKK (incl. VAT)

💡 Expert-tip: This example includes both staffed pickup points and lockers, but it's completely up to you which type you want to display in your checkout.

Note! When you are done with the setup, we recommend thoroughly testing it in your webshop. This ensures everything works as intended and that no other apps are conflicting with the Shipmondo app.
