This guide shows how to set up the paper size of your Brother QL-1110NWB for Windows.
The guide presumes that you've installed and connected the printer to your computer, and that you've installed the relevant Brother driver.
There are two types of Brother label rolls:
Standard label size of 103 x 164 mm. These can be used with e.g. GLS, dao and Brink Transport labels but not with PostNord, as they are a bit longer.
Continuous (endless) roll. We recommend that you set the paper size to 103 x 190 mm so you can use it for all carriers.
This guide is showing the setup for both types of label rolls.
How to set it up
Open the Control Panel on your computer, go to Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers and choose Printer Properties.
Follow one of the guides below, depending on the type of your label rolls:
Configuration of Brother's standard label size (103 x 164 mm)
Choose Brother's standard label size 103 x 164 mm under Paper Size:
Click on Apply.
The printer is now configured and ready to use.
Configuration of Brother's continuous (endless) roll
Click on the Advanced tab in the top menu.
Click on Settings by Continuous Tape Format.
Create a new label format by clicking on New.
Name the new format and set the Width to 103 mm and the Length to 190 mm.
Keep the Feed at the standard (3 mm).
Click on Add.
Go back to the tab Basic at the top menu and choose the new format under Paper Size.
Click on Apply.
The printer is now configured and ready for use.
