Delivery methods on Klarna Checkout can be set up under the menu option:

When you start to configurate of delivery methods on your Klarna Checkout, you need to be aware of the following:

Below, you will find some examples of setups of delivery methods, which you can use as inspiration for setting up your own delivery methods. Finally we will review how you can combine several requirements and what you should be aware of in this regard.

Note! The language shown in Klarna Checkout is dependent on the country chosen. For this guide we have chosen Sweden as the country, therefore the language shown is Swedish.

You can offer your customers the ability to pick up their order at your store, warehouse or other delivery location.

Configuration in Shipmondo:

Create your store as a delivery location under Settings > Integration > Klarna > Delivery location. If you have multiple stores, you can create a delivery location for each of them.

Your delivery locations will be listed in Klarna Checkout, where your customers can choose between the different options. Your delivery locations will be sorted according to distance.

This example shows configuration for delivery to a PostNord pick up point in Sweden for 39 SEK and the option of free shipping for orders with a value above 499 SEK.

It is possible to combine multiple requirements for one single delivery method.

Below is the configuration of a delivery method, which applies to weight of orders from, and including, 0 to 20 kg. (0 kg ≤ weight < 20 kg) and the delivery method will be offered for free, when the overall order amount is 499 SEK or more.

If you combine the option order amount dependent and free offered shipping, you need to make sure that the free offered shipping is activated on all of your delivery methods with the same delivery type.

This will ensure that your delivery methods are shown correctly in your Klarna Checkout.

With order amount of 200 SEK:

If the order amount is 200 SEK, then the first delivery method, with a shipping price of 29 SEK, will be shown. Klarna Checkout will, at the same time, show that the method is offered for free, for orders above 499 SEK. (The second delivery method will not be available, as the requirements for displaying the delivery method are not met).

With order amount of 400 SEK:

If the order amount is 400 SEK, the first delivery method will not be available, while the last delivery method, with a shipping price of 19 SEK, will be available.

However, Klarna Checkout will still show that the delivery method can be offered free of charge, if the order amount is 499 SEK or more.

With order amount of 550 SEK:

If the order amount is 550 SEK, the last delivery method will be shown. However, as the total order amount exceeds the limit amount for free shipping, therefore the shipping price will be 0 SEK.

The logic shown above can also be achieved by setting up the three delivery methods below:

With this configuration, Klarna Checkout will not show the status bar for free shipping, as shown in the picture below:

It is possible to combine all five possible requirements in one single delivery method:

However, we recommend that the delivery methods be configured as simply as possible, in order to avoid unnecessary complexity in the logic.

A complex configuration can create “holes” in the delivery methods, and this may cause issues, meaning that some orders do not meet the requirements, and the customer is therefore not given the opportunity to choose a delivery method in Klarna Checkout.
