Yes, as a starting point, your shipment is always insured when you book freight through Shipmondo. Get an overview of coverage amounts here.

Normally, a shipment is automatically covered by insurance up to a certain coverage limit, depending on the chosen carrier.

Insurance coverage and terms may vary from carrier to carrier. Therefore, you should be familiar with the specific terms and limits that apply to the insurance of your shipment.

Extended package insurance in Shipmondo

If the value of your package exceeds the maximum coverage offered as standard, you have the option to purchase extended package insurance through Shipmondo.

This allows you to increase the carrier's coverage amount to match the actual value of your shipment.
