It is important that you are familiar with these surcharges.

Special handling (Non-conveyable consignments)
It is important that your parcels are properly packaged and suitable for fully automated sorting. If manual handling by PostNord is required, a surcharge will apply:
Parcels over 120 cm and/or 60x60 cm
Parcels that, due to their physical characteristics, cannot be automatically sorted (e.g., irregularly shaped items, bundled shipments, rolls and tubes, sacks, canisters and buckets, tires and rims, unstable items, crates made of metal, plastic, or wood, etc.)

Oversize
If a PostNord Service Point / Parcel Locker / Return parcel weighs more than 20 kg, measures more than 150 cm, or if length + girth exceeds 300 cm, the parcel will be delivered to the recipient’s address and an Oversize surcharge will be charged.
If a PostNord Home / Parcel / Return Pickup / Pickup Request parcel has a length over 175 cm, or a length + girth between 300 and 360 cm, an Oversize surcharge will be charged.
Oversize Return
Parcels weighing more than 35 kg, longer than 220 cm, or with a combined length + circumference exceeding 360 cm will be returned to the sender, subject to a return fee.
Privat person/privat address
If a PostNord Parcel is sent to a recipient at a private address, a surcharge will be charged.
Conversion from Service Point to Home
If a shipment weighs more than 20 kg, it will be automatically converted from PostNord Service Point to Home, and a surcharge will apply per parcel.
Island and ferry Surcharges
Surcharges for delivery to islands are invoiced based on PostNord’s current rates.
Correction of customs documents
When shipping outside the EU, you must ensure that customs information is filled in correctly.
If this is not the case and PostNord has to correct some information on the proforma/sales invoice, this will incur a surcharge per package.
Returns
If a parcel is not picked up in time or if it doesn't comply with carrier's requirements etc. and is returned to the sender for this reason, the cost of the return will be charged to the sender.
The price of the return shipment is the same as the price of the original shipment.
