Choose the type of return portal that suits your needs for the most efficient return management.

It is important to choose the return portal solution that suits your particular business in order to get the most efficient return setup and thus take full advantage of Shipmondo.


We offer two types of return portal

  • Return Management

  • Basic

The Return Management solution connects to your order management in Shipmondo, and gives you a complete return management flow, which is at the same time easy and efficient for both you and your customer. Your customers can digitally choose which items they want to return, and you specify possible return codes and return solutions for them to choose from.
This solution requires that you use Shipmondo Order Management.


The Basic solution lets your customers easily fill in sender information, print return slips, and book return shipping on a page with your logo and identity. With this solution, you manage the returns separately.


Choose the solution that suits you best. Both solutions are free for you to use.
If you use Shipmondo Order Management, we recommend that you opt for a return portal with Return Management.

Introduction to Return Portal – Return Management

With this solution, you get a return process that is integrated into your order management. This means that you have a smooth and efficient return flow, where you can easily manage return orders and refunds. In addition, you have a complete overview of all your outgoing and incoming orders from one place.

In this video, you can see how your customers complete a return using the Return Portal - Return Management.

Your customer fills in their order number and email address and then choose which items to return, the reason for return, and any comment.

Your customer can then choose a return solution and a return method:

You specify which return solutions you want to offer to your customers. For example, it could be the opportunity to get:

  • a refund

  • a gift card

  • store credit

  • exchange for another product

You can also offer several return methods, allowing your customer to choose their preferred way of returning their order. For example, you might offer delivery with multiple carriers or give them the opportunity to hand in the return at your company address:

  • Bring parcel shop

  • Postnord parcel shop

  • Hand in at our address

You can decide the price for your returns yourself or choose to offer your customers free return shipping. The system allows you to make the price dependent on the weight of the order that the customer wants to return, or to define fixed prices.


Your customer prints the return label and return slip, packs the return items, and returns the package according to the detailed instructions.

When you receive the return shipment, just scan the barcode on the enclosed return slip to easily manage the return order and issue a refund.

You can automatically send your customer a personalized message with information about the refund.

Introduction to Return Portal – Basic

This solution allows you to create a return portal with your own logo and identity. Your
customers can easily pick up return slips, order return shipping, and return items to you on a return page.


In this video, you can see how your customers complete a return using the Return Portal - Basic.

Your customer easily fills in their name, address, and a reference, e.g. order number.

You can also offer several return methods and let your customer choose the one they prefer. For example, you can offer delivery with multiple carriers or allow them to hand in the return at your company address:

  • Bring parcel shop

  • PostNord parcel shop

  • Hand in at our address

You decide whether you to set a price for the return shipping, and if you want, you decide the price that the customer must pay for the return shipping.

The customer prints a return label and return slip, packs the returned items and returns the package according to the instructions on the return portal.

When you receive the return package, you can process the return order as you wish.
