Shipmondo’s Shopify app is based on the carriers/countries where a choice of pick-up locations is possible.

There can be several reasons why your combination of country, carrier or product doesn’t appear in the Shipmondo app on Shopify.

  1. There aren’t any possible pick-up locations in the chosen country.

  2. The last mile carrier does not allow the sender/receiver to choose a particular pick-up location in the chosen country, and instead chooses the closest pick-up location based on the recipients address.

  3. The delivery type chosen does not include delivery through a service point.

  4. Your desired delivery option is a local pickup at your company address.

In this situation, there are two ways for you to set up delivery methods for the specific country/product.

1. Setup of delivery methods through Shopify's Shipping and delivery setup

If there is a delivery country, carrier or product that can’t be set up in the Shipmondo app, you can simply configure it through Shopify's own Shipping and delivery setup.

The Shipmondo app is compatible with delivery methods created through Shopify and there will be no visible difference for the end customer if you combine the two.

This way, you can group countries into zones and therefore create a delivery method for multiple countries at a time.

2. Setup of delivery methods through the Shipmondo App

If you decide that you would like all your delivery methods to be set up in one place, regardless of whether delivery to a pick-up location is possible or not, then you can of course set them up through Shipmondo’s app as well.

In this case, it would be necessary to create all your delivery methods individually for every delivery country, carrier and delivery method combination.

Example 1

Setup of DHL Freight home delivery to France, where it's only possible to deliver to a private address.

Under Carrier, select 'Other' and type the specific carrier's name in the Additional carrier name, in this case, "DHL Freight".

If you want to provide further details about the delivery method, you can write it under Additional text. Here, for instance, you can type "Home delivery".

Example 2

Setup of GLS Euro Business Parcel to Spain, where the option to choose a pickup point is not available.

Under Carrier, select 'Other' and type the specific carrier's name in the Additional carrier name, in this case, "GLS".

Choose 'Delivery to business' under Delivery method.

If you want to provide further details about the delivery method, you can write it under Additional text. Here, you can also specify whether it's a private or business delivery if desired, or include the product name.

Example 3

Setup of Pakke i postkassen via Bring Norway.

Under Carrier, select 'Other' and type the specific carrier's name in the Additional carrier name, in this case, "Bring".

Choose 'Home delivery' under Delivery method.

If you want to provide further details about the delivery method, you can write these under Additional text. In this example, you can write "Pakke i postkassen".

Example 4

Setup of local pick-up at your own office/warehouse.

Under Carrier, select 'Other' and type the specific carrier's name in the Addiotional carrier name, in this case, "Pickup in store," as there isn't a specific carrier involved.

If you want to provide further details about the delivery method, you can write it under Additional text. Here, you can write the store's address, opening hours, or a message stating that customers should call to arrange pickup.

Note! This field can only contain up to 30 characters.

Choose 'Home delivery' under Delivery method.
