Follow these 4 simple steps to set up your integration

1. Make sure that API access is enabled for your shop.

As API access is not enabled by default, you need to contact support@starweb.se and ask for assistance with this.

Read more here.

2. To create your API client, log in to your Starweb admin and go to SETTINGS > Starweb API > Manage API Clients.

Click on +Add new client.

Fill out the Client ID, select Shipmondo under API group and give the service the following permissions:

  • Products

  • Customers

  • Orders

Click the Save button.

3. An API client has now been created.

Save the Client ID for the setup of the integration in step 3.

Copy and save the Client secret for the integration setup later on, since this is the last time you'll have access to it.

4. Log in to your Shipmondo account here.
Go to Settings > Integration > Order and click on the Plus-button (+) in the bottom right corner.

Fill out the fields as follows:
Platform: Starweb
API username: Client ID from step 3
API password: Client secret from step 3
API URL: your website URL (remember http: // or https: // in front)

Choose the solution that suits your business. Choose Import to Orders or Import to Drafts.

It's important that you choose the right integration type that fits your business, in order to achieve the most effective setup. Choose between Import to Orders or Import to Drafts.
Read about the difference between the two solutions here.

Tick the Activate integration box.

Click on Create and continue.

The integration is now set up and new orders from your shop will be automatically imported every 10 minutes.

In order to see how you can create a shipment based on an imported order, please click here.

Send T&T to shop

You can activate the Send T&T to shop function, which sends tracking number back to your webshop where it's stored on the specific order.

Use transferred weight (Order management)

If you're using Shipmondo's order management, the weight of the items will automatically be transferred to your orders in Shipmondo. By activating Use transferred weight (Order management) feature, the system will use the actual weight from your items for booking the correct weight for your shipments. It's therefore a good idea for you to specify correct weight for your products in Starweb.

Discount article number

If you use discount codes on your Starweb store, you need to write what the field is called (Article number for discount) under Discount article number, and your discounts will be transferred and discount lines will be created for orders where discount codes have been used.

Custom location field

You can enter the name of the Tags field from your Starweb where you've stored the location / warehouse placement of your items, and this information will be transferred to your items in Shipmondo and displayed on your Shipmondo pick lists. Enter what the field is called in the Custom location field.
