If you use our user management feature on a daily basis, where multiple employees are connected to your Shipmondo account, you can also assign specific orders to specific users.
Users can either be individual employees with their own login or departments that share a common login.
For example, you might have a gatekeeper in the warehouse who is responsible for distributing orders among those who are working. This could be because you have certain products that one warehouse employee knows better than others.
In this way, your employees can focus on the orders that have been specifically assigned to them.
Bulk assignment of orders
It is also possible to use bulk assignment of orders. Which is assigning multiple orders to a specific user at once.
All you need to do is select the relevant orders in the overview under Order Management > Orders, and then assign them to the chosen employee or department, just as you would with single-order assignment.
This makes it particularly easy to work as a gatekeeper, where employees and teams pick the orders assigned to them, since the gatekeeper can select and assign multiple orders at the same time.
