When you ship with DSV Road Sweden, it is important that your parcels comply with the allowed dimensions and weight limits for the selected service.
Note! DSV Road Sweden uses volumetric weight. Shipping price is calculated based on whichever is higher: the parcel's actual weight or its volumetric weight.

Domestic shipments
DSV Parcel service point
DSV Parcel service point is used for delivery to a DSV pickup point (ombud), where the recipient collects the parcel.

* Parcels where the longest side exceeds 140 cm trigger a surcharge for non-system-compliant parcels.
DSV Parcel box
DSV Parcel box is used for delivery to a DSV locker, and the recipient is notified by SMS. The parcel is kept in the locker for up to four calendar days. If it is not collected before the deadline, it is returned at the sender's expense.

Preparing and dropping off shipments
It is important that all parcels have a valid shipping label and that the dimensions and weight are entered correctly.
DSV shipments are dropped off at the nearest parcel shop (ombud).
Packaging requirements
Parcels must be packed so they can withstand normal transport, terminal handling and machine sorting. The packaging must also protect both the contents and other shipments during transport.
DSV may charge a surcharge for parcels that exceed the allowed dimensions and weight limits for the selected product, or that cannot be handled in the automatic sorting.
Prohibited contents
The following may not be shipped with DSV Road Sweden through Shipmondo's freight agreement:
Dangerous goods, dangerous goods in limited quantities and lithium batteries
Cash, securities and other valuables
Alcohol
Medicines
Tobacco, nicotine products and nitrous oxide intended as a recreational drug
Live plants
Live or dead animals
Human remains, body parts, urns and similar containing ashes
Personal belongings and removal goods
Chilled and frozen goods and other contents that require temperature-controlled transport
Dry ice and other refrigerants that may pose a risk of suffocation
Illegal goods or goods subject to import or export restrictions
Contents that, due to packaging, smell or other properties, may damage other shipments or pose a risk to people and equipment
As the sender, you are responsible for ensuring that the contents are legal and may be transported in both the sender's and the recipient's country.
If a shipment contains dangerous goods or other contents that are not allowed, DSV may reject or return the shipment at the sender's expense.
