GLS Click&Collect is a distribution solution that allows your customers to choose delivery to and collection from one of your physical stores when shopping on your webshop.
Shipmondo supports booking of GLS Click&Collect shipments.
To offer Click&Collect on your webshop, you must have your own freight agreement with GLS.
How to get started
1 Create a Shipmondo account
If you do not already have an account, you can create a free Shipmondo account here.
2 Set up a Click&Collect agreement with GLS
Contact your GLS representative or GLS sales department to set up a Click&Collect agreement for your business.
Once the agreement is in place, GLS will make sure that your physical stores are created as pickup locations in their system.
3 Activate the agreement on your Shipmondo account
Once your agreement with GLS has been set up, contact Shipmondo to have your GLS Click&Collect agreement activated on your account.
4 Adjust your webshop checkout
Your webshop must be configured so that customers can choose your stores as pickup locations in checkout.
If you use an order integration in Shipmondo, the selected store must be saved on the order as a service point, in the same way as parcel shops.
If you instead create shipments from your own system through the Shipmondo API, the pickup location must be included as a service point in the API call when creating a Click&Collect shipment.
You can read more in our API documentation and find an example of how to create a Click&Collect shipment via the API here.
Please feel free to contact our Customer Success team if you have any questions or need technical guidance.
