GLS' Click&Collect solution can be used for giving your customers the opportunity to place an order on your webshop and pick it up in one of your physical stores, aside from the usual home and service point delivery.

Shipmondo's freight booking portal supports booking of GLS Click&Collect shipments as well.

If you wish to offer Click&Collect as a delivery method on your webshop it is required for you to have your own freight agreement with GLS.

How to get started

1. Create a Shipmondo account

Create a Shipmondo account free of charge here if you don't already have one.

2. Enter a freight agreement reg. Click&Collect with GLS

Give a call to your contact person at GLS or their sales department and enter an agreement reg. managing of Click&Collect shipments for your business.

GLS will make sure that all of your physical stores are set up as pick-up points in their system.

3. Activate your GLS Click&Collect agreement on your Shipmondo account

Contact Shipmondo's customer service to activate your GLS Click&Collect agreement on your Shipmondo account.

4. Adjust the check out on your webshop

Get your IT department or external developer to adjust your store check so that your customers can choose which of your stores they wish to pick up their order.

Make sure that the store a customer has chosen during checkout is saved on the order in the correct way, the same way as regular parcel shops. Once this is in place, the data will be imported correctly into your Shipmondo account and made ready for you to be able to book your GLS Click&Collect shipments through the same order management flow as regular GLS pick-up points/ParcelShops.

In case you are creating shipments from your own system through Shipmondo's API, you need to make sure to send the pick up point along as a service point in your API call when creating GLS Click&Collect shipments.

Read more about it in our API documentation here and find an example for creating a GLS Click&Collect shipment through our API here

Feel free to contact our customer service if you have any questions or need any technical assistance.
