bpost offers an additional service called Info distributed e-mail that you can add to your shipment if you wish to receive a confirmation when a package has been delivered to the receiver.

For you as a sender, this can be a nice to have, to make sure your shipments are reaching their destination.

If you wish to activate Info distributed e-mail as a default additional service you can do so through your shipment template, otherwise you can chose to activate it for a single shipment, by separately ticking the box under Additional services.
