Shipping products
There are different types of bpost services (shipping products) that you can purchase and book through Shipmondo.
Bpack 24H Pro (home delivery)
bpost's Bpack 24H Pro is a nationwide product in Belgium that can be used for delivering parcels to any private address.
Home delivery is especially convenient if you send larger and/or heavier shipments, as your customers don't have to think about the transport from the service point to their home address.
Note! The signature, insurance and second presentation are considered to be extra options which will be invoiced separately (in addition to the cost of the Bpack 24H Pro). Find more info about this in bpost surcharge overview.
Bpack@bpost Pro (delivery to service point)
You can send parcels to bpost's more than 2,000 service points throughout Belgium by using Bpack@bpost Pro, making it easy for recipients to collect their parcels whenever it suits them. Delivery points include post offices, parcel shops and supermarkets.
Bpack 24/7 (delivery to parcel locker)
You can use Bpack 24/7 to send your parcels to one of bpost's 300 lockers, located in busy, public places. Your customers can scan and collect their parcel themselves, close the door and they're done!
They can pick up their order day and night and, since it's up to themselves to choose where and when, they never have to drive.
This is bpost's green solution that means way less CO2 emissions!
Bpack Retour (return to a business address)
If need be, you can also create return labels with bpost, by booking their Bpack Retour products, and send a label to your customers, so they can send a package back to you.

Weight and dimensions
It's important that your shipment should comply with the maximum dimensions and weight.
Length + circ. | Max. length | Max. weight |
300 cm | 150 cm | 30 kg |
bpost's invoicing is based on the physical weight of the shipment, so long as it complies with the the above measurements.
An oversize/overweight fee might be charged if your shipment doesn't comply with the above measurements.
Insurance and compensation
In the event of damage or loss, all domestic shipments sent through bpost will be insured according to bpost's standard CMR insurance, which covers your shipping cost and an amount per. kilogram.
Proper packaging is a precondition for receiving compensation in the unlikely event of damage during transport.
Packaging requirements, conveyable shipments and manual handling
Parcels exceeding 20 kg in weight, 100 cm in length or 70 x 60 cm will be managed manually, which incurs a special handling fee. Find more info about this in bpost surcharge overview.
It's your responsibility as a sender to provide adequate and secure packaging, which will ensure that your shipment is eligible for compensation in the event that any damage is caused during shipping. Outer and inner packaging must therefore be adapted to the contents.
In addition, it is important that your shipment should be system-compliant, meaning suitable for machine sorting and able to be stacked in bpost's vans during transport.
Liquid contents and powder must be packed well, so that they can be absorbed inside the outer packaging, even if the inner packaging is damaged.

Additional services and surcharges
When you book shipments with bpost, there are a number of additional service fees that may be imposed on your shipment. That is, for example, if your shipment does not meet the carrier's requirements or requires special handling by the carrier for other reasons.
Therefore it is important that you read and familiarize yourself with the different additional services.
