PostNord MyPack Home is a product that you can use to have parcels delivered to your customers' home addresses.

The maximum length with MyPack Home is 240 cm.

MyPack Home parcels which exceed these dimensions will be handled as special cargo. See more in Surcharges for additional services.

If you are shipping with PostNord Norway and the parcel's dimensions exceed the allowed dimensions, you take the risk that either your parcel is being handled as a pallet, (and, hence, you will therefore be charged the difference in price according to PostNord's current pallet prices) or that the parcel is being returned at your expense (in which case you will be surcharged at PostNord's current rates).

Delivery time

The delivery time is based on the postal code of the recipient. See more in the returnplans on PostNord's webpage.

Drop-off of PostNord shipments

PostNord has approximately 1,600 service points in Denmark. Click here to find the nearest post office or a PostNord locker.

If a parcel cannot be delivered

If a parcel cannot be delivered for one of the following reasons:

  • Receiver can not be reached at the delivery address,

  • Receiver does not pick up his parcel at the service point or

  • The package does not comply with the carrier's requirements,

then the parcel will be returned to the sender. Any returns will be made to the sender's drop-off point, and the sender will be notified by either email or SMS.

The cost of return shipping will be invoiced to the sender and the price will be the same as the price of the initial shipment.

Insurance and compensation for damaged or lost shipments

Compensation in connection with domestic shipments with PostNord Norway is calculated according to the value of the parcel at the time of drop-off. If the shipment is damaged, the compensation will correspond to the repair of the damage will be compensated. If a repair is not possible the impairment will be compensated.

For domestic transport in Norway, the compensation will not exceed 17 SDR per gross kilos of the shipment's weight.

More info about PostNord's parcel insurance can be found on their webpage "Brukerguiden", or by contacting PostNord Norway's business customer service.

Packaging requirements

It's your responsibility as the sender to provide adequate and secure packaging so the package can withstand normal transport handling, which involves several transfers and resorting during the journey. Exterior and interior packaging must therefore be adapted to the contents.

Liquid and powder content must be well packaged so the contents can be absorbed into the outer packaging, even if the inner packaging is damaged. Properly packaged shipping is a prerequisite in order to receive compensation for any damage during transport.

Additional services and surcharges

When you book shipments with PostNord, there are a number of additional service fees that may be imposed on your shipment. That is, for example, if your shipment does not meet the carrier's requirements or requires special handling by the carrier for other reasons.

Therefore it is important that you read and familiarize yourself with the different additional services.
