Managing multiple identification numbers in Shipmondo

If you manage multiple VOEC, GB-EORI, and IOSS numbers (e.g., if you are a 3PL or a fulfillment center), you can easily manage them in Shipmondo.

Updated yesterday

Normally, a company has only one VOEC, GB-EORI, and IOSS number associated under Settings > Company > Information. However, it is possible to manage several at once if, for example, you operate as a 3PL or a fulfillment center.

If you book shipments for multiple companies that send packages to and from countries outside the EU, such as Norway and the UK, you can create shipment templates for each customer and their delivery options that require the applicable identification numbers.

You can then use these shipment templates when creating manual shipments - or you can link the templates to your customers' relevant order integrations to automate your shipment booking with the correct information and identification numbers.

How to

In the example below, we use the VOEC number as an example, but the same principle applies to GB-EORI and IOSS numbers.

Go to Settings > Shipment > Templates. Click the Plus button (+) in the bottom right corner to create a new template.

Name the template and fill in the desired information. If you check VOEC under Carrier Services, a new field will appear under Sender (see the image below). Here, you can add your customer's VOEC number, which will be used for all future bookings when the template is applied.

Note! If the VOEC field is left blank, the number saved in your company settings will be used if the applicable identification number is required.
