For selected carriers, you can upload your own documents when booking a shipment. The documents will be forwarded to the carrier together with the shipment.
This can be useful if you want to attach your own Commercial Invoice, Proforma Invoice, or other shipping and customs documents.
Note! It is your responsibility to ensure that the uploaded documents are assigned the correct document type, contain all required information, and comply with the carrier's and customs authorities' requirements.
Shipmondo does not validate the contents of uploaded documents.

Important regarding customs documents
The following applies when uploading a Commercial Invoice or Proforma Invoice.
Shipments booked using your own shipping agreement
If you upload a Commercial Invoice or Proforma Invoice when shipping on your own carrier agreement, the uploaded document will be used. In this case, Shipmondo will not generate a commercial invoice.
Electronic customs data will still be transmitted separately where supported by the carrier.
Shipments booked using Shipmondo's shipping agreement
If the shipment is booked using Shipmondo's shipping agreement, it is not possible to upload a Commercial Invoice or Proforma Invoice.
In these cases, the commercial invoice generated by Shipmondo will continue to be used.
