eFiling for exports to the US

Learn how to provide the required information and documents for your shipments when a carrier supports CPSC eFiling.

What is eFiling?

On July 8, 2026, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) introduced eFiling, which requires importers of regulated consumer products to electronically submit information from their certificates of compliance when importing goods into the US.

The purpose is to help US authorities identify products that do not comply with applicable safety requirements while streamlining customs clearance for affected shipments.

Whether your products are subject to the Consumer Product Safety Commission's requirements depends on the product type and applicable US regulations. Read more about eFiling directly on the Consumer Product Safety Commission's website.

Note! It is your responsibility to ensure that all the required information and documents are submitted correctly. Shipmondo cannot advise you on whether your products are subject to the requirements or which information you need to provide during the booking process.
