With this generic address label, you can print address information in a regular label format, without any shipment or carrier specification.
There are three types of address labels:
Pickup label
This type of label is typically used for orders that are collected from your address by the recipient. Read more about Click and Collect.
When this label is created from an imported order, the order status will be changed to “Ready for pickup”, and a personalized message can be sent to the customer to inform them that they can now come and collect their package.

Address label
You can use this type of label for shipments that you send as a letter, for example.
When this label is created from an imported order or a draft, it becomes possible to send a personalized message to the customer to inform them that the shipment is on its way.
You can also use this type of label for letter shipments outside the EU. You just need to select Address label - No postage, undefined carrier as the product during the booking process.
Example of an address label:
Drop-off label
This type of label is typically used for returns where the customer physically drops off the package at your address - for example in a store, at a warehouse, or at an office.
No carrier is associated with this type of label, as the package is not shipped with a transport company but delivered directly to you.
Drop-off labels are often used in connection with a return portal, where the customer creates their return label and then delivers the package to you.
Example of a drop-off label:
How to create an address label manually

It's also possible to create a generic address label with pro forma invoice for shipments outside the EU.
Example of an address label with pro forma:
Next, you need to fill in the shipment details, just like when creating a manual shipment. If you are using an address label with pro forma, you must enter the correct customs information.
Note: If you have an order integration, creating generic address labels can be automated by linking the delivery methods on your webshop with the corresponding shipment templates.
