When you need to export to the United Kingdom through Shipmondo, you may need to add your GB EORI number to ensure proper customs clearance.

Note! Not to be confused with your EU EORI number.

You can add your GB EORI number to your Shipmondo account by clicking your company name at the top right, and then going to Company information.

Once you have added your GB EORI number, it will automatically be transferred to your customs documents when you book shipments to the United Kingdom through Shipmondo.

Note! When importing from the UK, the VAT number must always be entered manually when booking.

VAT number when booking to the United Kingdom

If you have not added your GB EORI number in your company settings, then you will have the option to add it when booking shipments to and from the UK under VAT number:

If you send to a business address, then, under Receiver in the order window, you have the option to add your receiver's VAT number.
