  • Set shipping rates based on various principles: fixed price, order value, order weight, or number of items in the cart

  • Offer free shipping on orders over a certain amount

  • Offer multiple carriers, all integrated into one single app

Note! This guide covers the following versions:

  • PrestaShop 8

  • PrestaShop 9

System Requirements

  • For PrestaShop 8: PHP 7.2

  • For PrestaShop 9: PHP 8.1

Screenshots in this guide are taken from PrestaShop 9, so the appearance may vary slightly. However, the procedure remains the same.

If you are using versions older than PrestaShop 8, please follow the guides below:

If you are updating from an older version of Shipmondo Delivery Checkout, your previous setup will be transferred. However, due to an update in the configuration, please review all your shipping methods. Get a thorough walkthrough in our guide here.

How to Install Our Delivery Checkout

Step 1: Download Shipmondo Delivery Checkout

First, you need to download our Delivery Checkout for PrestaShop.

Note! If you are updating from an older version of Shipmondo Delivery Checkout and have already configured an order integration, you must ensure after the update that the web service permissions are updated to include shipmondo_service_points. Follow this guide to update the permissions.

Step 2: Install the File in PrestaShop

Log in to your PrestaShop admin and select Modules > Module Manager in the menu on the left.

Click Upload a module at the top right.

Drag the file you just downloaded into the window, or click Select file, locate the file, and click Open.

Once the file has been successfully uploaded, you will be notified that it is installed.

Click Configure.

Step 3: Generate a Delivery Checkout Key

Log in to your Shipmondo account. Go to Settings > Integration > Delivery Checkout.

Click Generate key and copy it.

Step 4: Integrate Shipmondo and PrestaShop

Go back to your PrestaShop admin and paste the Delivery Checkout key into the Delivery Checkout key field.

Completing the Google Maps API key field depends on how the service points should be displayed in your checkout:

If you select Dropdown, the Google Maps API key field is not required and can be left empty, as the service points are shown as a list.

If you select Modal, the field must be filled in, and you must therefore follow this guide to create a free Google Maps API key for map display in Delivery Checkout.

How to Create a Shipmondo Carrier

Go to Shipping > Shipmondo Carriers and click Add Shipmondo Carrier.

For first-time setup, click Create new carrier under Carrier.

Select the carrier to be linked, and then select the delivery method under Product.

Click Save to create and save the carrier.

The link will now appear in the overview of Shipmondo carriers.

If you select Service Point as a product, two new fields appear: Carrier Product and Filter service point types.

For most carriers, the setup will be completed automatically, but when choosing PostNord as the carrier, you can choose to display either PostNord Service Point (parcel shop) or PostNord Parcel Locker (parcel box) individually. However, it is also possible to display both at the same time. You can do this by holding down Ctrl (Windows) or Cmd (Macbook) and clicking on both product types.

Scroll down and click Save.

After this, you must set up the price for the shipping methods. Read more about how to do this and see examples in our guide.
