A draft contains pre-filled shipping details and can be used to create a shipment or shipping label.
Drafts are located under Shipments > Drafts.
A draft in Shipmondo can originate from four sources:
A saved draft created during manual shipment creation
Imported through an order integration
Created via API (shipment_drafts endpoint)
Creating shipments from drafts
You create a shipment by clicking on a draft and then clicking Create.
It is also possible to create shipments in bulk by selecting multiple drafts and clicking Create shipments.
Editing a draft from an order integration
For drafts imported through order integrations, please note that if you edit the draft and save the changes, the draft will be converted from the type “Order” to “Shipment”. When this happens, the draft will no longer receive any updates from your order integration.
