There are different types of DHL Express services (shipping products) for worldwide shipping that you can book through Shipmondo.

We offer transport of both parcels and pallets through our fright agreement with DHL Express. Furthermore, pickup of parcels / goods at your address is included in the shipping price.

DHL Express Worldwide

DHL Express Worldwide is a product you can use in case you need a door-to-door delivery within the next possible working day.

The product is convenient for time-critical international shipments and can be used for both single and multi colli shipments, as well as pallets.

DHL Economy Select

DHL Economy Select is an affordable and efficient product that you can use if you need door-to-door delivery within a specified number of days.

The product is convenient for less urgent and typically heavier international shipments. It can be used for both single and multi colli shipments, as well as pallets.

Weight and dimensions

DHL Express shipments may consist of one or more colli.

If a parcel weighs under 20 kg, it's important that it can be handled by one person.

If a parcel weighs over 20 kg, then you're required to place it on a pallet. Pallet exchange is not possible in this case and you can't get it back as DHL Express uses it throughout the entire delivery.

It's important that your shipment complies with the maximum dimensions and weight.

An oversize fee might be charged if your shipment doesn't comply with the above measurements.

Prohibited and restricted contents

DHL Express shipments must not contain valuable jewelry and watches, securities, irreplaceable items, pornography, pirated goods, animals, illegal furs, plants, human remains or ashes, weapons, ammunition, drugs, liquids, hazardous goods (under IATA and ADR rules). It's your responsibility as a sender to ensure that the contents of your shipment are acceptable and don't violate any laws of either sender or receiver country.

Packaging requirements

It's your responsibility as a sender to provide adequate and secure packaging, which can be loaded with other goods and withstand road transport in tarpaulin trucks. Secure packaging allows for stacking, helps to withstand shocks, pressure and vibrations/shaking during transportation and storage. Proper robust packaging prevents the package from causing damage to other shipments, DHL Express or third parties.

The contents must be packaged in such a way that it can be loaded with other goods and can withstand road transport in tarpaulin trucks. Pallets and cargo must be able to withstand handling by truck.

Prepare your shipment and book pickup

A shipping label must be provided for and applied to each colli/parcel.
Remember to fill out and enclose a proforma or a commercial invoice if you're sending to a destination that requires customs clearance (a non-EU country).

Remember to print an End of day list from your Shipmondo account, and show it during pickup. DHL Express can pick up shipments at any addresses located on an island connected to the mainland Denmark by a bridge.

Book your pickup electronically through your Shipmondo account. Pickups can take place on all weekdays (weekends and public holidays excluded).

If a shipment and pickup are booked before 10am, the pickup can take place on the same day. It is important that the shipment/parcel(s) are ready for pickup when DHL Express arrives.

Surcharges/prices for extraordinary activities

DHL Express offers worldwide shipping.
However, be aware that DHL Express only offers business delivery in Russia.
