Automate your order and freight management by integrating your Shopify webshop with Shipmondo.

1. Activate Carrier Calculated Shipping on your Shopify store (optional)

Display of delivery methods and the pick-up point selector in your Shopify checkout is an expanded feature in the Shipmondo app, which requires that Carrier Calculated Shipping is activated in your Shopify store.

Make sure that Carrier Calculated Shipping is activated before installing the Shipmondo app (step 2), if you wish to use the Shipmondo app for setting up shipping rules, delivery methods and the pick-up point selector.

Note! If you install the Shipmondo app without having the Carrier Calculated Shipping feature on your store's Shopify subscription plan, the integration will still work (your orders will still be transferred from Shopify to Shipmondo), but the shipping rules, delivery methods and the pick-up point selector, set up through the Shipmondo app, will not be shown at your store checkout.

2. Install Shipmondo app on your Shopify store

Find Shipmondo app in the Shopify App Store and read on in this guide in order to properly set up the app.

3. Choose the right integration type

After you've installed the app, new orders from your webshop will automatically be imported to your Shipmondo account every 10 minutes. You'll be able to find all the imported orders under Shipments > Drafts

The integration type chosen by default is Import to Drafts.

If you wish to activate order management, you'll simply need to edit the setup of your order integration under Settings > Integration > Order.

Send T&T to shop

This feature will send the tracking number back to your webshop and it will be saved on the order. Furthermore, the order will be marked as fulfilled on your Shopify shop. 

Note! The order will be marked as 100% fulfilled in Shopify and only the first T&T-number will be shown on the order in Shopify (regardless of how many fulfillments and packages you create for your shipment). However, all packages of the same shipment will be visible on the tracking link you get from Shipmondo.

Send shipping confirmation email from webshop

This feature will trigger sending of the shipping confirmation to the customer from your Shopify admin. You can adjust the content of this message in your Shopify store admin, under Notifications.

Use transferred weight (Order management)

If you're using the Shipmondo app in combination with order management, the weight of the items will automatically be transferred to your orders in Shipmondo. By activating this feature, the system will use the actual weight from your items for booking the correct weight for your shipments. It's therefore a good idea for you to specify correct weight for your products in Shopify.

Use order note for delivery instruction

If you choose to activate the function Use order note for delivery instruction and what will happen is that any comment your customer leaves regarding where the parcel may be dropped off on their address, this information will automatically be used as delivery instruction during the shipment creation process. This function is especially useful when wanting to give carriers permission to deliver a parcel without POD (e.g. DepositService at GLS Denmark or Flexlevering at PostNord Denmark).

4. Shipping method setup (in Shipmondo app on Shopify )

Setup of delivery methods with optional pick-up points takes place in Shipmondo's App in your Shopify store, if you've chosen to activate the Shopify Carrier Calculated Shipping in step 1.

Shipmondo shipping App supports the following features:

  • Setting up of delivery methods for any given carrier

  • Showing the list of nearest pick-up points, based on the receiver’s address (supported carriers Bring, dao, PostNord, DHL, DB Schenker)

  • Setting a fixed shipping price or calculated price based on the order amount or weight

  • Activating free shipping for orders exceeding a certain amount

  • Delivery method and price management according to the total weight of the order

  • Delivery method and price management according to zip code

Note! If you haven't activated the Shopify Carrier Calculated Shipping, then you must create your delivery methods through Shopify shipping rates.

Compatible with Shopify Shipping Rates

Shipmondo App is compatible with Shopify's standard shipping setup, Shopify Shipping Rates.
This means e.g. that if there's a receiver country that you can't set up through our app, or if you need to set up a click-and-collect option at your own address, you can set this up through Shopify shipping rates.
